ELKS CAMP GRASSICK-SUMMER OPPORTUNITY
The North Dakota Elks organization sponsors Elks Camp Grassick. Camp Grassick is a summer camp serving children and adults with physical and intellectual disabilities. The camp is located on the south shore of Lake Isabel near Dawson, ND.
Elks Camp Grassick is currently looking for summer staff. Positions are available in counseling, recreation, crafting, lifeguards/waterfront, speech therapy, occupational therapy staff and camp nursing. This is an excellent opportunity for students pursuing a degree in education, health care, speech and language, physical therapy or occupational therapy.

LEADERSHIP OPPORTUNITY for SOPHOMORE STUDENTS
The 2023 North Dakota Leadership Seminar (NDLS) will be held June 2-June 4, 2023, at the University of Jamestown in Jamestown, ND. This program is open to students completing their sophomore of high school. The seminar is provided at no cost to students, parents, or schools. The school is seeking a student from the sophomore class represent our school. The student must provide their own transportation to the event.
Students attending participate in leadership development, community involvement and volunteerism through interactive sessions with business and community leaders from across North Dakota. Some of the activities include mock legislature, constitutional debate, keynote speakers, teambuilding activities and completion of a service project. NDLS provides students the opportunity to build strong friendships with other youth leaders from across the state and grow as an individual. 2023 GIRL'S STATE

Who can attend: Ladies having completed their junior year of high school.
North Dakota Girl’s State is an exciting program where young ladies can learn about government, complete community service projects, develop leadership skills and form life-long friendships.
One half credit of social studies can be earned through participation. The Samsung corporation awards numerous scholarships to students who attend Girl’s state. For information regarding eligibility and application information, please visit http://www.legion.org/scholarships/samsung .
Costs for Girl’s State are deferred by the local American Legion Auxiliary or American Legion Posts. The registration fee is $300.00. Students who need a sponsorship please contact ndgirlsstate@gmail.com .
