Griggs County Central School District is happy to announce we will be partnering with Mayville State University and the Head Start Program to provide a full day preschool option at GCC this fall. The Head Start Program will be open to students in the GCC school district, or neighboring districts, that are 4-years old by August 1, 2023. The program will be held at GCC in the elementary school and it will run in coordination with the regular K-12 school calendar with the operating hours of 8am-3pm.
Head Start Program details:
- Monday-Friday 8am-3pm
- School busing available for students living outside of city limits
- Must be 4-years old by August 1st
- Tuition is Free
- Breakfast, Lunch, and Snack provided Free
- Students are eligible for the GCC after school program (3pm-5pm) – tuition costs apply for that program
- Mrs. Pam Eberle (Click for Bio Info) will be the lead teacher with a full-time paraprofessional
- First day for preschool/head start will be Monday, August 21.
- Back to School Night will be on Monday, August 14 (6pm-8pm)
