The next public meeting for the referendum will be held on Monday, September 18 at 6:30pm. We would like to invite all community members to attend to ask questions, check out the school, and to gather as much information as needed. ICON Architects and Construction Engineers will be at the meeting to help answer questions and go over financial details.
Here are two questions that have been asked recently:
1) Does any entity provide a requirement or recommendation for the amount of space a school should have to determine if GCC is actually out of space?
Yes. The Department of Public Instruction provides recommendations, based on current enrollment, and the picture below provides their recommendations and what the district currently has available.
2) What are the exact enrollment numbers that show an increase in enrollment at GCC?
