Griggs County Central is excited to share that we will be operating a five day a week preschool program for the 2022-2023 school year for children turning 4 before August 1, 2022.
After a second round of applications were reviewed for funding through the Best in Class grant, the North Dakota Department of Human Services’ Early Childhood Division awarded GCC grant funds to promote early learning experiences for children in the year before kindergarten. We are excited about the opportunities this will provide for our community and look forward to partnering together during this critical year in a child’s life!
The application can be found at the following link: https://bit.ly/3OOYtKa. It is also available for pick up at the GCC front office. This application is to be returned to the front office beginning on Wednesday, June 29th and enrollment letters will be sent to families on July 18th.
There are some important details for you to be aware of. This grant and the acceptance of the funds requires Griggs County Central to comply with program expectations, regulations, and guidelines. This includes, but is not limited to: capacity of 18 students, sliding scale tuition, serving children that are 4 years old before August 1, 2022, and incorporate research based family engagement.
