Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)

Reminder to Seniors and Parents to be working on their Free Applications for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) applications and setting up Federal Student Aid IDs (FSAID) over Christmas break.  Please consult the financial aid resources packet each student received. Dollars for Scholars

Dollars for Scholars Portal will be open after Christmas.  Students should be able to begin creating profiles December 26^th. Please complete your applications thoroughly. Dollars for Scholars will follow the student throughout their college career if it is updated annually.  Click the Students and Parents tab to begin.  https://griggsco.dollarsforscholars.org/

Titan Machinery Announcement 

Titan Machinery is excited to announce Diesel Camp programming for Summer 2023! The camps will provide 9th and 10th grade students with the opportunity to step into the work boots of a Service Technicians/Diesel Mechanic! Campers will be actively involved in hands-on mechanical projects, solving real-world problems, and learning the ins and outs of equipment. They will work and learn alongside certified Diesel Technology instructors, industry experts, and current student technicians.

We will be hosting four camps, both overnight and commuter style:

• Lake Area Technical College – Watertown, SD
  • May 30^th-June 1^st
  • Commuter
• Central Community College – Hastings, NE
  • June 5^th-June 6^th
  • Overnight
• Kirkwood Community College – Cedar Rapids, IA
  • June 20^th – June 22^nd
  • Commuter
• North Dakota State College of Science – Wahpeton, ND
  • July 23^rd – July 26^th
  • Overnight

 For just $50, a student can explore the diesel industry hands on this summer! All campers will be provided:

• Overnight lodging if required*
• 2 Uniform shirts
• 1 t-shirt
• 1 Baseball hat
• 1 pair of mechanic gloves
• 1 water bottle
• 1 pair of safety gloves
• Meals and snacks
