Good Luck to the Titan Football Team today as they host Enderlin for the Homecoming Game! Tailgating meal served by Bank Forward will begin at 6pm and go until end of 1/2 time. Kick-off at 7pm.

Homecoming Dance for 7-12th grades will follow the game until Midnight. Cost for attendees is $8. Doors will be locked at 9:45pm. Guests from other schools will register at the entrances. Breathalyzer will be administered upon entry.

Picture Day is Monday, Sept 15. Picture order forms will be going home with your students today. If you are interested in ordering please complete an order form for each student and send with your student on Picture Day. You may prepay for photos online until 11pm on Monday, 9/15 at www.ospgo.com/102115 (use passcode Prepay). If a student forgets their order form they have until Wednesday 9/17 to turn in the form to the office. Once the order is submitted for printing they will be unable to accept anymore late orders. All students are photographed for use in the yearbook and student database whether or not you order pictures.

Good Luck to the JH, C, JV, & Varsity Volleyball teams as they host Hatton-Northwood today 9/9. The 7th & 8th games will begin at 4:30 in the Multipurpose Room. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and our Lady Titans are raising money to be donated to Pink It Forward, a nonprofit organization that provides care packages for people going through breast cancer treatment. Get excited, Homecoming is next week! Coronation will kick off the week on Monday at 10:00am in the main gym. Dress up Days for the week are as follows: Monday: Pajama Day-Wear your best night time attire for a cozy day at school; Tuesday: USA Day-Show your American pride by dressing up in Red, White, & Blue; Wednesday: Class Color Day-Seniors=Black, Juniors=Blue, Sophomores=Pink, Freshman=Green, 8th Grade=Purple, 7th Grade=Red, 6th Grade=Orange, Elementary=Yellow, Staff=White; Thursday: Wild West vs West Coast Day-Wear your cowboy hats, bandanas, and boots on the wild west or go to the west coast with a laid back beachy coastal wear vibe; Friday: Titan Gear Day-Wear our school colors and show your Titan Pride for the Homecoming game against Enderlin. Griggs-Midkota Titans 2025 Homecoming T-Shirt Order Forms are due to the office by tomorrow, Wednesday, September 3rd. Include Name of student who will bring them home, sizes, number of shirts, and payment. Forms were sent home with students on Friday, extra copies can be found in the school vestibule.

To save on paper costs the Breakfast and Lunch Menus and Monthly Calendar will not be sent home with every student. Copies will be available in the foyer if your student would like one to bring home or can view them hung throughout the building. You can access them online to print at home by going to the Menu (three lines) under Documents/What's Happening? and click on Menus-Breakfast & Lunch or Monthly Calendar (https://www.griggscountycentral.org/documents/what's-happening%3F/230539). You can also view under the Events Tab and Dining Tab.

NOTE: There was an error on the original calendar. The XC meet is actually on Monday, 9/8 not Tuesday 9/9. Same time, same place.

South Central Transit Company City Bus Rides

Back-to-School Night is Monday, August 18th from 6pm to 8pm. (Note date change from Master Calendar.)

Things to do on that night include turning in your student's Yearly Registration Forms, putting funds in their lunch account, applying for meal assistance, paying student and activity fees, making high school schedule changes, seeing classrooms, finding lockers, and meeting teachers.

Everyone is also highly encouraged to attend one of the meetings regarding new legislation on student devices and what policy changes will take affect because of the new law. These meetings will take place at 6pm or 7pm.

The GCC Community Connections program will feature some local organizations and businesses that would like to show support to the students of GCC. If you would like to have a table at the event please email rebecca.edland@k12.nd.us.

Need Help with School Supplies? There will be a "Fill My Desk" table with school supplies available.

Also, the GCC Student Council will be serving Ice Cream Floats sponsored by Bank Forward and Miller's Fresh Foods & you can enter to Win a Prize!
