Congratulations to Audrey Eslinger who received a one rating for an Excellent performance and Joel Brown who received a STAR rating for a Superior performance at the State Music Contest on Saturday, May 2, 2026. Audrey performed a vocal solo of “May You Always Have A Song” by Albrecht/Althouse and Joel performed a vocal solo of “Give Me Wings” by Mark Patterson.

The RRVC Junior High & Varsity Track & Field Meet scheduled for tomorrow 5/5 has been postponed to Saturday, May 9 in Larimore starting at 11am Field Events, 11:15am 3200, & 12:00pm Running Events. The bus will leave GCC at 9am.

Good Luck to the Varsity Baseball team today on their double header against Hillsboro/Central Valley in Hope starting at 1:00pm. Reminder there will be no junior high practice today.

The Varsity Golf team will not be going to Napoleon tomorrow 5/5 but will instead practice in Jamestown.

Griggs County Central is hosting the 2026 Titan Tikes Sports Camp for Boys & Girls entering grades 1 to 3 on May 26, 27, & 28. Basketball for Boys & Girls will run from 8:30-10am and Volleyball for Girls & Football for Boys will run from 10:15-11:30am. Cost is $30 per athlete and includes a t-shirt and daily snack. Also, a time has been set for the JV Meet for Friday 5/1 at the Memorial Park Country Club in Grand Rapids. The meet will begin at 1pm. The team will leave GCC at 10am.

The Varsity Baseball game against Hillsboro/Central Valley postponed from Monday, 4/27 has been rescheduled to Monday, May 4 in Hope starting at 1:00pm. They will play two 7inning varsity games.

Griggs County Central school will be hosting a Volleyball Camp on June 8 to June 11, from 1:00 to 4:00pm for Grades entering 7-12. The cost is $150 per participant. Griggs-Midkota is hosting a Summer Skills Camp led by NBA/WNBA Skills Coach Reid Ouse on June 4th and 5th. Section 1 will be for 7-12th graders from 9am to 12:00pm.
