The GST Multidistrict Special Education Unit is looking for a passionate and dedicated full-time Special Education teacher for one of their locations starting the fall of 2026. A qualified applicant will develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with disabilities. GST Multidistrict schools are a short driving distance between both Grand Forks, and Fargo (and include school districts such as Central Valley, Hatton Eilson, Finley-Sharon, Hillsboro, May-Part CG, & Northwood making it an ideal work location for those who enjoy a small-town atmosphere but also want easy access to the amenities a larger community provides. Applicants must have at least a bachelor’s degree and hold a valid teacher license in the appropriate field. Salary [$44,000-$69,900] depending on experience and current negotiations. Due to the generosity of community members, the Griggs County Council on the Arts is offering scholarships of $150 as financial assistance to students interested in attending a fine arts camp (ie: music, visual arts, performing arts). In the past, students have attended the International Music Camp (IMC)* for music or art camps at the Peace Gardens, but other North Dakota fine art camp offerings will be taken into consideration.
Applicants must be in Grades 7-12 at the time of the application and must also reside in or attend school in Griggs County, North Dakota. The Griggs County Central Speech Team hosted the Beth Stokka Memorial Invite on Saturday, March 7th. Twelve teams competed in the event with around 140 speeches given. Thirteen competitors qualified for state out of fourteen events.
