The District 3 Boys Basketball Tournament kicks-off tomorrow, Friday, February 27 at Larimore High School. The Titans will play Midway-Minto at 3:00pm. Admission is $10 for Adults and $5 for Students. Good Luck to the Girls Basketball team today 2/26 at 5:30 in Larimore in the final round of the Region 2B Tournament as they battle Hatton/Northwood for 3rd place and a chance at the State Qualifier Game at Mayville State on Saturday 2/28.


March is almost here! We will be celebrating Reading Month with some fun events. The Adventure Awaits Book Fair will run March 2 through the 6th in the GCC Library.
Monday 3/2 is Mismatch Monday so wear clothing that doesn't match when you come to the Reading Month Kick-off Breakfast from 7:30-8:25am and shop the Book Fair from 7:30am-5:30pm.
Tuesday 3/3 & Wednesday 3/4 the Book Fair will be open from 7:45am to 5:30pm.
Thursday 3/5 is the K-5 Family Night from 5:30-7:30pm. Supper will be served from 5:30-6:30pm. The 4th grade will be putting on a Wax Museum from 5:30-6:30pm. The 5th grade will be putting on the "Theodore Roosevelt: A Life of Grit and Greatness" Musical. The 7-12 Choir will be sharing a couple songs as well at 7:15pm. The Book Fair will be open from 7:45am-7:30pm.

Hunter Safety Class will be offered by Mr. Jay Grover on March 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, & 11 from 3:05-5:30. Students must turn at least 11 years of age in 2026 to participate. Class attendance is mandatory. Congratulations to the Girls Basketball team on their win over North Prairie last night at the Regional tournament! The girls will play Benson County tonight 2/24 in the second game at approximately 7:00pm.

Members of the GCC Speech Team went to Park River on Saturday 2/21. Congratulation to the following members that received awards: Matthew Brown & Victor Ludwig received top novice in Serious Duo, Scarlett Ludwig received 5th in Dramatic Interp, and Briley Monson received 3rd in Humorous Interp and 8th in EPR.

NOTE TIME CHANGE FOR BOYS GAMES TODAY. The JH games will be played in the Multipurpose Gym starting at 3:30pm. The JV game will be played in the Main Gym starting at 3:30pm followed by the Varsity at about 5pm.

Kids Heart Challenge is Coming to GCC! This Wednesday, February 18th, our American Heart Association rep, Jessica, will be joining our school to help us kick-off our annual Kids Heart Challenge event. If weather prevents Jessica from travelling tomorrow, we will move the kick-off event to Thursday, February 19th.

Today's Boys Basketball game in Minto has been postponed. The 7, 8, C, JV, & Varsity will play at noon on Saturday, February 21st in Minto. The Varsity Boys will practice in Glenfield and the JH will practice in Cooperstown.
