NOTE TIME CHANGE FOR BOYS GAMES TODAY. The JH games will be played in the Multipurpose Gym starting at 3:30pm. The JV game will be played in the Main Gym starting at 3:30pm followed by the Varsity at about 5pm.

Good Luck to the Varsity Girls Basketball team today on the first round of the regional tournament in Larimore. The girls will play North Prairie around 7:15pm. The girls will leave GCC at 1:30 to go to Glenfield for a pep rally. Tonight's theme is Whiteout!

Also Good Luck to the Boys JH, JV, & Varsity Basketball teams tonight as they host Cavalier at GCC. The games will start at 3:30pm with the JH in the Multipurpose gym and the JV in the Main Gym, followed by Varsity. NOTE the time change.

Also Good Luck to the Speech Team on their Meet in Park River tomorrow 2/21. We will leave GCC at 6:30am.

Reminder that the Snowball Dance for 7-12th grades is tomorrow night 2/21 in Glenfield from 8-11pm. Admission is $10 per person. Out of Town guest will register at the ticket table.

Griggs County Central School and Buses will be 2 hours late tomorrow, Thursday February 19 to allow for clearing of roads and daylight driving for bus drivers and families. There will be NO breakfast service. School will begin at 10:30am.

Congratulations to the Girls Varsity Basketball team on their hard work at the District 3 Tournament. The Girls fought a good fight to earn District Runner-Up advancing them to Regionals! Also, Congratulations to GCC students Ruth Haugen, Avery Johnson, Gabrielle Larson, and Alyvia Zaun on being named to the District 3 All-Academic Team!

The Region 2 Tournament will be held on February 23, 24, & 26 at the Larimore High School. The Titans will take on North Prairie in Game 4 (20 minutes after Game 3) about 7:00pm of the Quarterfinals. This Wednesday, February 18th, our American Heart Association rep, Jessica, will be joining our school to help us kick-off our annual Kids Heart Challenge event. If weather prevents Jessica from travelling tomorrow, we will move the kick-off event to Thursday, February 19th.

Today's Boys Basketball game in Minto has been postponed. The 7, 8, C, JV, & Varsity will play at noon on Saturday, February 21st in Minto. The Varsity Boys will practice in Glenfield and the JH will practice in Cooperstown.

The Boys Basketball game on Thursday will be played in Park River rather than Fordville. Leave time will be 2pm.

2026 District 3 Girls Basketball Tournament 2/13, 2/14, 2/16 @Park River Area HS

Reminder that the K through 3rd grade classes will celebrate Valentine's Day with afternoon activity rotations on Friday, February 13th from 1:30-2:50pm. 4th and 5th will have classroom parties and 6th grade will assist with the K-3 activities. You should have received a note/newsletter from your student's teacher if they will be doing Valentine boxes or other activities. Please NOTE that any Valentine exchanges must be NON-FOOD items. Any food related items will not be handed out to classmates and will be sent back home with your student.
