District 5 Tournament game times moved up:
To get ahead of impending weather affecting the Southern part of our district, the District 5 Boys Basketball Tournament times have been moved up today, February 28th. The first game will begin at 2pm. The G-M Titans will play the second game at approximately 3:30pm. GO TITANS!!!
GCC school and buses will be on time Friday, February 24. Buses will run where possible. Drivers will be reaching out to families with more details.

Griggs County Central has been awarded two grants to hire a part-time School-Community Site Coordinator to finish the 22-23 school year and work through the 23-24 school year. Once your student completes Finn’s Mission, they’ll receive this special Finn Heart Hero!
Besides raising money, I wanted to emphasize the importance of participating in Kids Heart Challenge. Each student has the opportunity to take a challenge to either BE KIND or BE ACTIVE and we hope they take their pledge seriously as both are good for their hearts! 😊 Ask them what they are doing each day to "be kind" or "be active". :) Everyone has the chance to take part in fun activities during PE class and anyone who registers online will earn a free wristband! We hope your kiddos are learning how to be proactive in taking care of their hearts as well as the importance of helping others.

Our school had so much fun kicking off this year’s Kids Heart Challenge today! We traveled the globe with this year’s heart heroes, who emphasized the importance of things like helping others, drinking water, getting enough sleep and saying NO to tobacco and vaping. "Junior Titans Take the Court" for 3rd-6th grade boys has been rescheduled to February 14th at half time of the 8th grade and Varsity games.
BBB Schedule Update:
The BBB games vs Hatton/Northwood at GCC have been rescheduled to February 14th. 7th grade will start at 5pm followed by 8th grade and Varsity. The JV game has been cancelled. Senior Night and Parents night for HS participants will take place following the 8th grade game.
Feb 9th BBB location change:
-JH, JV,V vs Lakota will be played at Glenfield starting at 4:30pm.
BBB schedule adjustment for the February 7th contests at BCN in Leal due to BCN hosting a girls' game at 6pm:
-4:30 pm Junior Varsity in the main gym
-6:00 pm Junior High (6 quarters) in the Auxiliary Gym
-7:30 pm Varsity in the main gym
An additional JH GBB game has been added to the schedule for tomorrow, Monday, February 6th, vs DVE at Binford. 7th grade will start at 4:00 pm with 8th, JV, and V to follow.
Good Luck to the Boys C-squad Basketball team as they travel to Sweetwater Elementary in Devils Lake today! The players will ride to Binford on the practice bus right after school and will depart from Binford around 5:00pm for a 7:00pm tipoff!
