FFA has some fun things happening the month of February. FFA Week is February 22nd - 25th. The FFA Students have organized dress-up days, activities, and a Pancake Breakfast for the public in appreciation of our local farmers. This week kicked off the KISS THE PIG competition. Mrs. Ressler, Mrs. Harris, Mr. Grover, Ms. Rosin, & Ms. Withee have volunteered to compete! Students can bring coin or cash to fill the jar of the teacher they want to see Kiss the Pig! The teacher with the most cash by the end of the day Feb 24th will be kissing the pig on February 25th during Ag Olympics.
UPDATED BBB LEAVE TIME: Good Luck to the 7,8, JV, & Varsity Boys Basketball Team as they travel to May-Port today 2/3. Games will begin at 4pm. THE BUS WILL DEPART GCC at 2:15pm. Also good luck to the Girls JV & Varsity Basketball Teams on their rescheduled game against E/K/M in Glenfield today. The C-squad game has been cancelled. The JV game will begin at 4:30pm followed by Varsity at 6:00pm. The bus will depart GCC at 3:30pm.
Both Boys and Girls HS Basketball practice will be at GCC today (2/2) from 4-6pm. Practice is not mandatory for Midkota students as they did not have school today. There will be NO optional JH Basketball practice today.
The C, JV, & Varsity Girls Basketball games against E/K/M for tonight 2/1 have been POSTPONED to Thursday, 2/3.
Due to icy roads and high winds, there will be NO school at GCC today, Tuesday, February 1st. Stay safe and warm!
Griggs County Central School and busses will be one hour late tomorrow, Wednesday, February 2nd. There will be no breakfast, but there will be GST preschool. A reminder that with the cold weather it is required that students riding buses to and from school and activities need to have warm clothing such as coats, hats, gloves, snow pants and boots.

Practices scheduled for tonight will end early at 5:30pm.

The 2021 Yearbooks have arrived! If you ordered last year the books have been placed in your student's locker. Last year's graduates can contact Mr. Dockter to arrange pick-up. There are also a limited number available for sale for $60.

Congratulations to the Speech Team on their success at the meet at Dakota Prairie on Saturday! Melissa Johnson placed 1st in Entertain and 2nd in EPR. Mason Miller placed 3rd in Storytelling and qualified for State with a 1st in Impromptu.
