There will be a Griggs-Midkota Football Awards Banquet on Thursday, November 21st at GCC Multipurpose Room at 7:00pm.
Please join us for the FFA Pancake Breakfast on Tuesday, November 12th from 6:30-8:15am at the GCC Multipurpose Gym. We will be serving Pancakes, Sausage, and Drinks. There will be a Freewill Offering to support the FFA Program.

An exciting weeklong program that gives you firsthand experience running state government. Young men who have completed their junior year are invited to develop their talents and leadership skills, meet new people and experience campus life. Transportation is available if needed. One .50 credit for social studies can be earned by participation. Scholarship information available.
Students who apply for ND Boys State prior to the priority, deadline Friday, April 30, 2025, are eligible for one of three scholarships sponsored by North Dakota Boys State Inc. At the end of the week, the three scholarships ($250, $150, and $100) are presented to three randomly selected recipients. Scholarships are awarded for the students’ first fall semester. Scholarships are only eligible at North Dakota colleges and universities.
Samsung American Legion Scholarship: The Samsung corporation awards numerous scholarships to students who attend Boys and Girls state. For information regarding eligibility and application information, please visit http://www.legion.org/scholarships/samsung . The deadline for submission is arrival at ND Boys State registration.

The District 5 Volleyball Tournament will be held Oct 31, Nov 1 & Nov 4 at Ellendale HS. Good Luck to the Titan as they take on Oakes in Match 1 starting at 4pm on Thursday. Join us for the GCC One Act Public Performance of Booby Trap by Ed Monk on Tuesday, November 19th at 7:15pm, following the Sophomore Spaghetti Supper. Admission is $5. All are welcome.
Come Cheer on Titans JH, C, JV, & Varsity Volleyball as they host the New Rockford-Sheyenne Rockets tonight starting at 4:30pm.
Tonight is also parents night for Volleyball, Cross Country, and Golf. Seniors and their parents will be recognized following the JV game. All high school parents are encouraged to come out and support their athletes. Name tags and concession coupons will be provided by the G-M Athletic Boosters.
Reminder that Parent-Teacher Conferences are tonight, Monday October 28th & tomorrow, Tuesday October 29th from 3:15-6:00pm. Kindergarten through 5th grade conferences will be in their classrooms by appointment through the link https://www.signupgenius.com/go/904084AA4AC29ABF49-51807534-fall#/.
Sixth through 12th grade conferences will be in the teacher's classroom on a first come first serve basis. Please keep in mind that some high school teachers that are also coaches may not be available at tonight's conferences due to practice and the volleyball game. If your student has Mr. Dockter, Mr. Rieniets, or Mrs. Haugen you many want need to wait until Tuesday to meet with them. Sorry for any inconvenience.

The G-M Boosters will be sponsoring a Pep Rally on Thursday, October 24th from 1:45-2:30pm out at the football field. The community is welcome to come and help us support our state cross country runners and region champion football team as they enter their post seasons. There will be class games, team member introductions, and an opportunity for football moms to tackle their child!!
Give a big cheer as the Cross Country team travels to Parkhurst in Jamestown for the State Class B Cross County meet on Friday, October 25th. The boys will run at 3pm and the girls will run at 3:45pm. The awards ceremony will follow.
We hope everyone can come out and support our Football team on Saturday, October 26th at 1:30pm vs Wyndmere-Lidgerwood. We kindly ask that all children grade 6 and under are supervised by an adult. The GCC National Honor Society will be hosting their Annual Halloween Food Drive during Parent-Teacher Conferences. Bring nonperishable food items to donate at the fall display in the entry. Donations will be accepted all day those days. The students will not be collecting door to door this year due to the District Volleyball Tournament.
The GCC Fall Concert is Thursday, October 24 at 7pm. Grades K-5 will perform their songs followed by an intermission, then 6-12 Band & Choir. This concert will be Halloween themed. Students will be allowed to wear school appropriate costumes. K-5 Students please arrive at 6:45pm and 6-12 Students please arrive by 7:30pm. Contact annette.johnson@k12.nd.us with any questions.

As Region 2 Champs the Griggs-Midkota Titans have earned a bye-week and will be hosting the round 2 game on October 26th at Griggs County Central, time to be determined.
