The JH/V track meet rescheduled from yesterday will be Saturday, May 11th. We will NOT attend the meets on Friday, May 10th, but we WILL attend the meet in Larimore on Saturday, May 11th at 11am. The bus will depart GCC at 9:15am.

The Griggs and Midkota Athletic Boosters and the Griggs County Dollars for Scholars are hosting the 2024 Titan Open Golf Tournament at the Cooperstown County Club on Friday, July 12th. Join us and hear all the musical accomplishments of grades 6-12. All Regional and State Stars performers will be preforming their winning solos/duets/ensembles.
Attire for 7-12 grade will be all black for girls and white top, black bottoms for boys. We do have some black dresses and white shirts available. Sixth grade will be dressed nicely.


Reminder that Gearing Up for Kindergarten class for parents and their 24-25 Kindergarten student is tomorrow, Tuesday, April 30 and Tuesday, May 7 from 4:00-5:30pm at GCC. Many activities for new Kindergarteners and their families are planned. Child care for siblings will also be available.

Natural Resources High School Program-South Dakota State University
The Department of Natural Resource Management at South Dakota State University is hosting a Natural Resources High School Program, July 22-26 at Oak Lake Field Station in Astoria, SD.
The Natural Resources High School Program is a great way to gain exposure to the world of natural resources, including fish, plants, wildlife, soils, invertebrates, and water. The program offers opportunities to gain hands-on experiences in natural resource ecology and management. The program is intended for high school students entering grades 9, 10, 11 and 12, who have a strong desire to learn more about the natural world or who have an interest in pursuing a career related to natural resources. Permission of parent or guardian is required.
Possible activities the camp offers include Bird Banding, Lake Ecology, Pollinator Diversity, Camera Trapping, Archery, Radio Telemetry, Small Mammal Trapping, Reptile Trapping & Ecology, and Careers in Natural Resources.
Space is limited and admission is available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Lodging and meals are included in the registration. Registration is $300 and closes on May 31, 2024.
