Kick-off the week with a locker decorating contest, spikeball, refreshments and bars on Sunday the 15 from 7-9pm. Homecoming Coronation is Monday 9/16 at 10am. Dress up days will be Monday 9/16 Adam Sandler Day, Tuesday 9/17 Rhyme Without Reason Day, Wednesday 9/18 Class Color Day, Thursday 9/19 Athlete vs Mathlete, Friday 9/20 Titan Pride Day. Homecoming Dance for 7-12th grades following the game until Midnight.

Come cheer on the Titans today, Tuesday, September 3rd!! The Cross Country meet will be in CrossRoads Golf Course in Carrington beginning at 2:00pm, bus will leave at 12:00pm. The JH, C, JV, & Varsity Volleyball teams will host Medina-Pingree-Buchanan in Glenfield starting at 3:30pm. The Junior High Football team will take on Maple River at Hope High School starting at 4:30pm, bus leaves at 3:10pm. Also, the GCC Elementary Girls Basketball team will travel to McVille to take on Dakota Prairie beginning at 4:00pm, bus leaves at 2:45pm.

Nelson-Griggs District Health Unit will be at the school on Thursday, August 29 for vision screenings for Kindergarten through 6th graders. The screening is non-invasive and does not replace seeing an eye doctor. For children who receive a referral, results will be mailed to the parents. Please call the school before 8:30am tomorrow if you would like your child to opt out of the vision screening.
Elementary Girls Basketball is starting today, Monday, August 26 and will take place from 3:15 to 4:15pm in the Multipurpose Gym. A schedule will be sent home with the players today.
Our Instant Alerting System is going through a change. The switch was required because the previous company ended their services to schools. We are working with the new company to implement text messaging but for now we do not have that feature. While we wait for that feature to be turned on, please be aware that all Instant Alerts will be sent as a voice call only. In the coming days, watch for an opt-in message or you can choose to opt in now by texting Y to 67587. This will not turn text messaging on for you quite yet, but will ensure you are ready when it does.

Reminder that School Picture Day is this Thursday, August 22. The photographers will be here from approximately 8:00am - Noon. We realize that preschool won't be in session yet, but parents are welcome to bring them in during the morning or they will get their photos taken on picture retake day. Order forms were sent home with Elementary students today and are on 6-12th grade lockers for them to bring home. If you haven't received one yet, remind your student to bring it home. Students should bring the form and payment with them to the photographer on Thursday.
