Great Job 4th grade students! We could not be prouder of how well you did last night during your Wax Museum Presentations. Your hard work and perseverance really came through. From presenting to 23 senior peers to standing for almost 2 hours and presenting numerous times, you all stuck with it! Mrs. Ramsey and the staff would like to say job well done!!! Spring Parent/Teacher conferences are Thursday, March 13th from 3:15-8:30pm. Please sign up for all your K-5th grade students at https://www.signupgenius.com/go/904084AA4AC29ABF49-55520359-spring. Time slots start at 3:15pm and the last one is at 8:15pm. If you are unable to attend on Thursday, please contact your student's teacher to arrange a different date and time. Guardians of current 6th grade students - We are requesting your attendance at a Gearing up for 7th grade Meeting the evening of parent teacher conferences, March 13th, from 5:30-6:15pm in Mr. Jay Grover's Classroom. At this meeting we plan to share ways to prepare students for junior high and high school and current challenges. Please plan conferences for your other children around this time. 6th-12th grade, you will need to pick-up your student's progress reports in the office then visit your student's teachers in their classrooms on a first come first serve basis.

Information About Paying for College
The Griggs County Council on the Arts is offering scholarships of $150 as financial assistance to students interested in attending a fine arts camp in music, visual arts, performing arts. In the past, students have attended the International Peach Garden summer music or art camps (IMC), but other North Dakota fine arts camp offerings will be taken into consideration. Applicants must be in grades 7-12 at the time of application and must also reside in or attend school in Griggs County, North Dakota. Applications will be available in the school foyer community handouts display or go to https://5il.co/39ajz. All applications must be postmarked by March 31, 2025.

Also available will be the Kicking It With Camden bracelets in many sizes for $1 each. Sarah Braun Dance will perform during half-time of the JV & Varsity Games. HANDS-ON LEARNING. WORKFORCE READY. BSC’s non-credit Firefighter Type 2 (FFT2) training will prepare students to serve on a hand crew, engine crew, or helitack crew, performing fire suppression and fuels management duties in adverse climate, fuel, and terrain conditions. This certificate program can lead into a career as a wildland firefighter with Federal and State land managing agencies and private contracting businesses. It will provide you with the skills and knowledge necessary for the entry-level wildland firefighter position. A Certificate of Completion will be provided to students upon successfully completing the Wildland Firefighter training. The Wildland Firefighter training is a 45 1/2 hour training to include 32 hours of in-person training, 5 1/2 hours of online training, and an 8-hour field day. The $35 tuition includes all classroom materials and equipment use. The following expenses are the financial responsibility of the student: lodging and travel, clothes suitable to work in outdoor conditions, a computer or tablet for online learning, and a notebook along with a pen/pencil. Special rates are available at the Baymont or Ramada Inn for students enrolled in the BSC Firefighter Type 2 training. Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license.
