The GCC Student Council presents Holiday Dress Up Days, December 18th, 19th, & 20th. Monday is Christmas Colors Day; dress in your best red and green. Tuesday is Holiday Head-to-Toe; wear holiday headgear, ugly Christmas sweater, and festive socks. Wednesday is Pajama Day; dress in your coziest pjs for the last day of the semester. Students will enjoy a popcorn & movie at the Cooper Theatre and frosted sugar cookies! Also, the Student Council will collect Socks for Santa at the Dec 18th Home Girls Basketball Game. Bring new pairs of socks to the game or to the school to donate to local shelters.

State Historical Society of North Dakota “What is Community?” Contest Teen Takeover Contest Entry | North Dakota Heritage Center & State Museum (nd.gov) The State Historical Society of North Dakota is inviting North Dakota teens to submit an original artistic creation interpreting the North Dakota-related theme of “What is Community?” to the Teen Takeover competition. The finalists’ work will be displayed in spring 2024 at the ND State Museum in Bismarck. Details about the contest are available through the link and in the attached poster pdf.
