The Lost & Found has taken over the halls of GCC! Be sure to stop by the tables/rack to claim your students items. A great time to do that would be tonight when you come for the Sophomore Spaghetti Supper and One Act Performance. Whatever is not claimed by the end of the day on Friday will be donated to the thrift store!

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 28 NDHSAA CROSS COUNTRY STATE MEET MESSAGE:
Fans attending the 2023 NDHSAA Cross Country State Meet on Saturday, October 28 at Jamestown’s Parkhurst Campground/Pipestem Reservoir are encouraged to use all-wheel drive vehicles or to carpool with someone who does. The Jamestown High School parking lot (1509 10th St NE, Jamestown, ND 58401) may be used as a meeting point.
Awards Ceremonies will now be held at the Theatre in Jamestown High School.
Class B Awards will start at 2:15 p.m. and Class A Awards will start at 6:00 p.m.
RACE TIMES ARE AS FOLLOWS:
Noon – Class B Girls
12:45 p.m. – Class B Boys
Class B Awards Ceremony 2:15 p.m. at Jamestown High School Theater
4:00 p.m. – Class A Girls
4:45 p.m. – Class A Boys

GCC School and Buses will be 2 hours late on Friday, October 27th. There will be No breakfast service.
Due to inclement weather, the District 5 volleyball tournament times and locations have been adjusted for today, Thursday, October 26th. The G-M Titans vs Carrington Cardinal opening round game of the District 5 volleyball tournament will be played at the Midkota High School Gymnasium in Glenfield starting at 3:00pm.
Due to the increased likelihood of measurable snow late Thursday into Friday in Jamestown and in order to clear the course to ensure the integrity of the races, the 2023 NDHSAA Cross Country State Meet will now be run on a “One-Day” Schedule Format on Saturday, October 28 Jamestown’s Parkhurst Campground/Pipestem Reservoir located at 8148 30th St SE, Jamestown, ND 58401.
The new schedule of race times on October 28 will be as follows:
Noon – Class B Girls
12:45 p.m. – Class B Boys
Class B Awards Ceremony immediately following the races.
4:00 p.m. – Class A Girls
4:45 p.m. – Class A Boys
Class A Awards Ceremony immediately following the races.
Ticket prices: Adult: $10, Student: $5
Be advised per NDHSAA Cross Country Regulations, no pets are allowed on the course.

Griggs County Central School District is participating in a soft lock down drill this morning. There is no emergency at the school. During a soft lock down, classes/lessons and office work proceed as normal but the hallways stay clear for privacy reasons related to medical emergencies or other related events and access to the building is limited. If you have any questions, call the school to talk to an administrator.
Good Luck to the Titan Volleyball Team as they take on the Carrington Cardinals on Thursday, October 26th at 4:00pm in the first round of the District 5 Tournament at Oakes High School. Admission is $8/adult and $5/student. The match will be streamed on the NFHS.

Mr. Anderson is looking for volunteers to help with the Regional Cross Country meet on Saturday, October 21st at 11:00am (helpers may be needed around 10am). If you are interested in helping out, please contact the school to leave your contact information.
The start time for the Volleyball games at Steele, ND vs Kidder County have been moved up to 5pm. JV will begin at 5pm, followed by their parents night recognition and the Varsity contest. Games will be broadcast on NFHS. Bus will leave GCC at 2:00pm and MHS at 2:30pm.
It's 9-12th grade Football Parents' Night/Senior Night tonight, October 13th, at GCC. The Titans are taking on Hankinson. Parent/Senior Recognition will begin approximately 6:55pm with anthem, line-ups, and kick-off to follow.! Go Titans!!!
There will be a 4th, 5th, and 6th grade elementary basketball scrimmage between our boys and girls basketball programs in the GCC Main Gym at their practice on Friday, October 13th, from 3:15-4:45pm. It is open to the public.
It's the JV & Varsity Football Senior/Parent's Night tonight, Friday, October 13th at GCC. Join us as the Titans take on the Pirates of Hankinson. Parent/Senior Recognition will take place at 6:55pm. We will announce all 9-11th grade players and their parents, then all seniors and their parents will meet at midfield to be recognized. Go Titans!!!
