We wanted to let everyone know that due to a nationwide shortage of milk cartons, milk is being provided by the jug and poured in cups for the students. We are hopeful this will not be a long-term issue. In the meantime, contact the school if you would like to come in as a parent volunteer. Our kitchen crew would appreciate the assistance!
3on3 tournaments are a great opportunity to get your athlete some extra practice out of season. MPCG is having a basketball tournament for 3rd-8th graders on October 29th. Parents Night for Cross Country and Girls Golf will be this Thursday, Sept 21 in the main gym following the JV Volleyball game. All 7th through 12th grade athletes will be recognized as they compete at a JV or higher level in both golf and cross country.

The Cross Country meet scheduled for today, Tuesday, September 5th, in Carrington has been canceled. There will be practice after school at the regularly scheduled times.

There will be a public meeting for the referendum tonight (Aug. 30) at the school starting at 6:30pm in the gym.
Griggs County Central had an individual medical emergency today at the school. When those events happen, the school goes into a "stay in place" protocol which means that every classroom keeps doors closed and stays in the classroom ignoring the bell schedule. The reasoning for that is to keep the hallways and exits clear for the medical need and for the privacy of the individual student. If anyone ever has questions on "stay in place"/medical emergency protocol, reach out to the school to talk to an administrator.
