The Kramer Skills Academy will be a providing a Basketball Camp at GCC for Griggs & Midkota Girls and Boys grades 2 through 12 interested in furthering their Basketball Skills starting Tuesday, June 2 from 7pm to 9pm and then every Friday and Tuesday from 8 to 11am through August 13th.

If you have multiple kids please fill out separate forms! Each session will cost $10! Families with multiple children will receive a discount. The skills being trained will be shooting, dribbling, footwork, and offensive moves to progress each age group. Individual workouts will also be available if you reach out. Storybook Theatre will be auditioning for students entering 1st through 12th grade for the production of Rapunzel on Monday, June 16 at 12:30pm. The cast will be announced at the end of the two-hour audition. Rehearsals will be held from 12:30-4:45pm June 17-20 with a public performance on Friday, June 20 at 6:30pm. This Spring GCC's Kindergarten PE Class took part in the All Kids Bike Kindergarten PE Learn-to-Ride Program. The Program boasts an inclusive, proven learn-to-ride curriculum that offers every child the opportunity to experience the joy of two wheels.
Students going into grades 3 through 6 are invited to participate in the Progressive Agriculture Safety Day on Tuesday, July 15, 2025 from 8am to 12pm at the Hannaford City Park. A fun-filled morning of learning topics such at ATV Safety, PTO Safety, Equipment Safety, First Aid, Stop the Bleed, Chemical Safety, Animal Safety, Hidden Hazards, Sun Safety and more. There is a lot of unclaimed shoes and clothes from the Boys Locker Room. If you didn’t clean out your stuff the last day of school, please come claim it now. All lost and found items will be taken to the Thift Store the end of the week. Also a pair of Nike shoes (pictured) and a pair of tan & brown Nike shoes are missing. Please return if you have them.

This program is for children that will reach 4 years of age by August 1, 2025 and will be taught by a licensed teacher. GCC will be offering scholarships to offset tuition costs so families only pay for their students meals according to eligibility. The GCC High School Awards Program will now be Thursday, May 15 at 12:30pm in the Main Gym. Other events coming up at GCC this week are Baccalaureate on Wed 5/14 at 7pm in the Main Gym, Kindergarten Graduation on Friday, May 16 at 12:00pm and 1st to 5th Spring Concert & Awards at 12:45pm. The Class of 2025 Graduation Ceremony will be Sunday, May 18 at 2pm.

New Bank of North Dakota Tuition Assistance Program
Beginning with the 2025-26 school year, dual credit assistance applications will be available exclusively on PowerSchool through the ND Education Portal.
Top changes:
Applications will now be available July 1st of each year
This is a fixed feature of PowerSchool we are unable to change.
Signatures are no longer required by the student, parent or school official.
The student’s Free or Reduced-Price Lunch (FRPL) eligibility will come over automatically based on their status in PowerSchool.
High school class: Students will need to enter what the high school course equivalency is to their college course, ex: Speech counts as an English credit.
Additionally, students will need to check on their application status within the application tab. We will not be sending approval/denial letters to students going forward.
“Completed” will indicate a reviewed application.
“Submitted” will indicate that their application hasn’t been processed.
“Incomplete” will indicate that there is an error, and they need to make a correction.
Students with “incomplete’ status will be emailed so that they know what they need to change.
If there are any students who still need to submit applications for 2024-25, we encourage you to begin submitting them using the PowerSchool application. Please see the attached tutorial.
